Saint Brendan Catholic Elementary School is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and is part of the Archdiocese of Miami's school system. No student is denied admission on the basis of race, color or ethnic origin.
Saint Brendan Catholic Elementary School is a parish school, hence, it seeks to serve first the needs of children whose parents have a proven history of active membership, frequent Mass attendance and participation in church related functions.
Priority is given to siblings, our own parishioners, children from parishes without schools and if there is still an opening we will review non-parishioners applicants belonging to a parish which has a school available.
Students must meet the following criterion to be admitted:

Admission Test:
Students must obtain acceptable scores on admission tests administered
by Saint Brendan Catholic Elementary School. Tests that are administered
by Saint Brendan Catholic Elementary School are the property of the school
and will not be given to parents and/or guardians. For Pre-Kindergarten
and Kindergarten students, a screening process will be administered;
this is not an entrance exam, but rather an age-appropriate developmental
tool in assessing the younger students. Acceptance into the Pre-Kindergarten
and Kindergarten class is a local level decision.
Report Cards/Grades:
Parents must present the current school year report card and standardized
test scores. It is expected that students have successfully completed
all subjects.
Health and Immunization Records:
Parents must provide the school with original updated medical and Immunization
records. HRS Form 680 or HRS Form 680, Part A and HRS-H Form 3040;
these are the only forms approved by the State of Florida. No student
will be allowed to start the school year without the required State Immunization
Form.
The Pastor and Principal hold the ultimate discretion as to the selection and final acceptance of any student.
