Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is a club where students strive to model, share, and inspire others to follow the examples of Jesus Christ.  As Campus Ministers, students in the 7th and 8th grade are able to serve as witnesses of Christ through their actions among their peers.  Students serve with integrity and willingness to promote spiritual and moral growth within St. Brendan Elementary. They share their faith and love of God by participating in school and parish events, prayer services, masses, and coordinating retreats.  They also work together with the school community to encourage everyone to serve and follow Jesus’ path with love.

Altar Serving Ministry

Altar Servers actively participate in assisting the priest and deacon at the table of the Lord.  They also partake in other religious ceremonies and processions.  Alter serving is an opportunity for students to become closer to God as they help in rituals and traditions of our faith.  It also opens students up to grow more prayerful as they learn more of the ministry and why they serve.
Altar Serving is open to students who are at least in the 5th grade and have already received the Sacrament of Communion.  Training is required, and takes place in September and January.
“Whoever wants to serve me must follow me; so that my servant will be with me where I am. And my Father will honor anyone who serves me.”  (John 12:26)
